Welcome to Skye Water Color. I love watercolor painting for its light preciseness and clarity. I strive to replicate what I see, down to the nearest detail. It doesn't happen exactly, of course, and that is where my style comes out.

ARTIST BIO
I’ve come back to painting after years of being a mom in a small home.
I have loved watercolors since my first watercolors class in college.
I've had diverse experiences in work and travel, including five seasons with the Park Service and Forest Service, where I was a wildlife technician, botany technician, and wildlands firefighter in southern Utah, north central Washington, and southern California. These landscapes are displayed in some of my paintings.
I'm still in a small home, but the kids are older and no longer a danger to my art! I am now a member of the Verksted Gallery Artists' Cooperative in Poulsbo, Washington, and prints of my art are available on Etsy.com.
